Agape Theater Company is excited to offer a serious acting course, taught by Alexey Efremov this fall. This course gives young people the opportunity to learn more about the craft of acting under an experienced teacher.
The acting class will begin September 8th for 2.5 hours, from 6:30-9:00 PM at St. Barnabus Church in Indianapolis on Monday evenings for 12 weeks. We welcome students from the age of 12-18 to join this course.
The course is designed to give young performers a more in-depth approach to acting. The course will use the book Chernobyl Prayer as a basis for the monologues performed, which chronicles people's experiences in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
At the end of the prior class, students will present their work in a showcase to friends and family on November 24th.
The class registration fee is $100, with the final tuition payment being $160, for a total of $260 for the overall course. While students will perform in street clothes, students may also need to pay for additional props for their monologue. Please reach out if payment is an issue.
The registration fee of 100 is due with the registration paperwork
The final tuition payment of $160 is due on the final day of class
Agape has never turned down a student because of financial needs. If tuition payment is an issue, please apply for a scholarship through the MRA foundation. The next deadline for scholarships is September 1st. Please reach out with any additional questions or concerns.
