We are Agape. We are a community theater group that allows participants to realize their potential- as performers and as people, in a community theater setting. Led by a diverse and dynamic board of directors, our team is continually providing life-changing theater experiences. Not only do we use the medium of theater to tell important stories, but we are also continually writing our own story: a story of community, creativity, and love. We are love. We are Agape.
We create theater. Our season usually consists of a classical theater in the winter, a spring praticum class for emerging performers, a hit summer musical for college students, and a winter performance. These dynamic and diverse opportunities means there is something that appeals to everyone. Led by experienced staff on the creative team, our theater offerings enrich the lives of performers and audience members alike.
Storytelling is one of the oldest human art forms, and people have been telling stories through theater for centuries. As a company, we believe that through telling important stories, we can touch the lives of people, both onstage and off. Our work extends beyond creating props, rehearsing music, or sewing costumes. We are telling stories that we want to be told, because the world needs to hear them.
The Agape Theater Company is led by a Board of Directors, who have rich and diverse theater experience. Their leadership, and dedication is what allows our work to be possible.
