She previously co-directed "Westside Story" alongside Dr. Kathy Phipps and has co-wrote and directed her own productions, "Harlem Renaissance;  An Ode to the Cotton Club" and "Mary's Journal I and II."  She was also the musical director for "Newsies," "The Sound of Music," "Pirates of Penzance" and "The Christmas Story."  


She is the Director of the Music and Arts Ministries at New Zion Community Church, Co-Director of Beloved Community Co-op Homeschool Program, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc and the mother of three awesome young men, Eric, Joshua and Jonas.
