"You Can't Imagine how wonderful it was!" Students ages 10 - 18 are encouraged to join us for this magical adventure to Narnia. Our Summer Theater Camp will audition, rehearse, and perform the one-act musical based on C.S. Lewis' masterpiece The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe which we will present at the Indy Fringe Festival!
Participants will grow in their singing, dancing, and acting skills while making new friends in a faith-based community. Campers will also help create the scenery, props, and costumes for the show.
The Summer Theater Camp will meet July 19 -23, 2021 and July 26 -30 from 12:00-5:00pm. Tuition for the Camp is $200. A $50 deposit (applicable to Camp tuition) is due on initial registration, and the balance must be paid by July 1 [unless other arrangements have been made]). The location of the camp will be at St. Roch's Cafeteria or Parish Hall (located at the corner of Meridian and Sumner St.)
The Agape Theater Company won the Most Impressive Youth Theater Production in Indianapolis in 2017 for our production of "Les Misérables" and again in 2019 for our Bard Fest production of "The Tempest," so your child will be in an exciting environment surrounded by other people who not only love the theater, but who are also committed to making excellence accessible.
Our four performances will be the weekends of August 21 and 28 (specific times and dates will be available later in the summer). We will have one Dress Rehearsal weekly each of the first three weeks on August (three total week night rehearsals). We plan to rehearse on Tuesday nights, August 3, 10 and 17.
Safety is extremely important to us, so we will carefully follow all CDC and government mandates regarding social distancing and any other Covid-related requirements.
$150 + 3% convenience fee for camp balance is due July 1, 2021. This option is for registrants who have already submitted their $50 deposit.
