In 2020, Dr. Phipps was directing a talented cast of "A Christmas Carol," but the production never opened because of Covid. Agape Theater Company is pleased to add this family favorite to our season. Victoria Resnick will be the Assistant Director.
December 3 - 5 and 10 - 11 at the Arts for Lawrence venue, the Theater at the Fort. The venue requires that actors EITHER 1) perform with a mask 2) or show proof of Covid Vaccination
The talented cast includes Anthony Johnson as Bob Cratchit; Darby Kear as Marley; Matai Grazian as Tiny Tim, April Barnes as Mrs. Cratchit; and Evelyn Skaggs as Fan. This unique production has all actors except Scrooge playing more than one role.
We are auditioning for roles including the Ghost of Christmas Present (can be male or female), Belle, the Nephew/ Young Scrooge, Mr. Fezziwig, Mr. Scrooges' Housekeeper, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Understudies for Tiny Tim and Fan/ Cratchit child.

General Auditions are via video. Please make a video of you reading monologues for the role(s) you’d like (memorization not required) then email the video, a picture of yourself, your resume and a list of any conflicts for 1) Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in October and/ or November (we won’t rehearse the day before Thanksgiving) 2) the first week of December (mandatory rehearsals). Will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, beginning in October at the Bard Fest Rehearsal Studio in Mooresville (9678 N. Glenn Drive). We will rehearse those evenings in October and November (except for the day before Thanksgiving), as well as the first week of December. The rehearsal studio requires that actors EITHER 1) show a weekly negative Covid Test OR 2) show evidence of vaccination for COVID. (Children in the show may wear a mask instead)
Call Backs for open roles for "A Christmas Carol" will be on Wednesday, September 29 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at the Bard Fest Rehearsal Studio (address above). The rehearsal studio requires that actors for Call Backs EITHER 1) present a negative Covid Test OR 2) show evidence of vaccination for COVID.
