Our founder Dr. Kathy Phipps has a PhD in Theater from Michigan State University and has studied Shakespeare at Regent's College in London, England and Irish Theater at the University College Galway, Ireland.

Our first show , Into the Woods, was in 2016. From there, we have offered a diverse range of theater experiences. From reinventing Shakespeare for new audiences, to as seen on the silver screen shows like Hunchback of Notre Dame and Newsies, we are on the forefront of theater innovation in Indianapolis.

"Agape" stems from root word for sacrificial love. From our love of our craft to the harmony flowing in the performers, families and volunteers involved, Christian love is at the base of everything we do. Supported by prayer, devotions, and weekly team-building exercises, we work to create an atmosphere of love.
